about patrick

Patrick grew up in the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, known as Ticino, where the air was thick with the scent of fresh herbs and simmering sauces. Nestled between the Alps and the Italian border, his childhood was shaped by a rich blend of Swiss tradition and Italian soul.

At the heart of his upbringing was his nonna, a woman whose kitchen was her kingdom. From the moment Patrick was tall enough to reach the counter, she welcomed him by her side. Together, they made pasta from scratch — flour dusted across the wooden board, eggs cracked with practiced ease, dough rolled and shaped by hand. Nothing came from a packet. Everything came from the earth, the garden, or the local market.

His nonna taught him that cooking was not just about feeding people — it was about love, patience, and memory. Through her guidance, Patrick learned to make classics like risotto, gnocchi, and slow-cooked ragù the way they were meant to be made: with time and intention.

Those early lessons in Ticino's sun-warmed kitchen never left him. They became the foundation of everything Patrick knows and loves about food.

And now he wants to give you the opportunity to experience that first hand in your own kitchen.
